Wow, Saphir, I have not experienced *that* bug. Can you tell me what mob you are fighting so we can see if you need a special scale or something in order to "cut" through it's armor?

You are either experiancing one of two things I believe. One you are using a satyr scale such as the scale of dance or such, these now cause you to do 0 damage to most mobs. Another possibility is you have a crafting ability up in which case you would not be able to see any of the damage you are doing but you are still hurting the mob.
