    Default Spell ideas from Starmind

    Summoning Spell: Summon Monster
Summoning spells that summon a monster to your aid. Must have a
trophy of that monster to summon it. There would be a number of
different types: Summon Golem, Summon Wolf, Summon Oastic, Summon
    Treant, Summon Beetle, Summon Spider.

    Tinker's Automaton:
Tinkers should be able to make automatons that need to be powered by
essence orbs. When activated, an automaton appears at the feet of
the owner. Inside the owner's inventory, the automaton remains and
can hold up to 200 essence orbs. The duration of the automaton is 1
minute per essence orb. The tier of orb required is dependant on
the tier of automaton. There would be a number of different
automaton types: Gnome Automaton (Crush damage), Elf Automaton
(Ranged damage), Dryad Automaton (Nature Damage), Dwarf Automaton
    (Slash Damage)

    Spirit Spell: Possession
Casting this spell on a monster allows you to take control of the
monster. Your body becomes completely ethereal (can not be hurt by
non-ethereal attacks)and merges with the body of your target (if it
fails its resist/ward) You then control that monster as if it was
your own body. You can only do the base attack of the monster, not
use any of its special skills or spells. At the end of the duration
of the spell, you are kicked out of the body of the target and you
have the same hp you had when entering the target. If the target
dies while possessed, the spell is ended and you are returned back
    to normal form.

    Mind Spell: Insanity
Casting this spell causes the target to attack the creature nearest
it (assuming it failed its save/ward). Is ineffective against
    undead creatures.

    Primal Spell: Self-Sacrifice
Casting this spell brings about the instant death of the dragon, but
does damage to all creatures within the area of effect equal to ten
times the hp the dragon had at time of casting (modified by
    resists/wards)

    Nature Spell: Polymorph
Casting this spell turns the caster into an animal, which is not
attacked by any other animal (though undead and blighted will still
attack) There are different types of this spell: Polymorph Wolf
Form, Polymorph Beetle Form, Polymorph Spider Form.

Life Spell: Aura of the Chosen
For a short duration, the caster of this spell is immune to all
attacks and all negative effects are removed. After the duration of
the spell expires, the caster is stunned for time equal to half the
    protection time.

    Default

I want an automaton that runs before me and screeches 'Here comes Poggle'. And then I'd sell earplugs to the community.

Starmind's spell ideas (including the components) are neat.
snickel wigglsniff (retired) Twilight Crusaders on Unity
poggle wigglsniff (gnomish crafter and mage) semi-retired on Order
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A gnomish house should not just sit there, it should definitely DO something!
