Ask SteelClaw, I think he had some success getting the game to run via WINE.

    "No."

Wow that sounds like a real experiment in torture; however it could be worth it if the game ran better on Linux's file system. Would probably benefit from a load of ram so it would cache it all.

As for me, I have quite enough fun with XP and Vista dueling it out. Vista is currently loosing as Linksys haven't written a driver for my network card.

LoL, putting it that way it somehow sounds like something every HZ player (from Unity or Blight) should do. Pain and more pain. I'm thinking about buying a new pc and if it's possible to run HZ with Linux .... Nothing decided yet.

hehe... after fighting with this laptop for 2 hours after spyware got past my lines of defence, I can say that I'll pass on making Horizons run on Linux.

Quite enough fun and games in my chosen career too, so stress to minimums as much as poss...

Horizons will run under Linux. Don't ask me how to do it cause I'm Linux illiterate, but a friend has been doing it for a couple of days now.
