I moved everything from my plots to vaults a long time ago on unity and sold the plots so I do not believe this is an issue for me.

As I have many new friends and alts on Chaos now I would prefer my unity characters to be moved to Chaos or the Chaos characters moved to a new Unity shard if that turns out to be the intention
