xp bonuses

Not sure if this is a bug or not. My kitty has a rating of 37 and was lvl 2 scout. i killed a lvl 24 small grassbeetle with two others attacking me it said that i got 40xp with 66 bonus for malti kill, i looked at my xp bar and i only had the 40. Never did get the bonus and i notice it do that every time. not sure if that is a bug or becuase i was already at xp cap for my lvl. any enlightenment on this would be great.

Your xp is capped to at most 1/5 of your total xp to next level, at higher levels it becomes 1/10.
