Help identify (modified?) music file

I found a music file dalimond_mus_02.mp3. Since its name exactly matches one of Istaria's internal music files, I was pretty certain of its origin -- except its content did not match.

Now I know a few things about that file:

• it was released before 2014, likely in the early 2000s
• it probably belongs to an RPG similar to DSA, Conlave (or Istaria), though that guess may be incorrect

Does anyone know whether the file linked above is part of a well-known sound mod? Or (if that is not the case), does anyone recognize it, or know where it might come from? I've already tried AHA to identify it (via recording and upload), but sadly to no avail.

I really like that track, and knowing where it came from would absolutely make my day!

I dont know - sounds a bit like something from Nausicaa / studio Ghibli.

Glad you like it as well! I did manage to actually track it down with the help from another forum -- it turns out to be Background Woods 3 from a German RPG called "The Guild 2" from 2006. The soundtrack is amazing.
