Spore creature creator trial.

I have been looking forward to Spore for a long time, but it looks like it will be old news before I get to try it. My processor is just a little too slow for the creature creator to run, apparently. (I am running on ancient hardware purchased in 2001-- ancient in computer years, anyway.) I thought we'd be getting new computers soon, but it looks like I am buying a car instead. Hehe... Ah, well, I'll catch up sooner or later.

I will just have to live vicariously through other people. Post more critters!

Have any of you looked at the "featured" creations? there's a strawberry, a train, a helicopter.. all sorts!

not sure how they'd actually PLAY, but they are very cool to look at

Im looking forward to Spore too! I've tried downloading the trial (took about 20 attemts darn internet connection) and got it installed, but it keeps saying Im missing some dll. I guess I'll have to wait.

yea I was going to try it at work but apparently - my video card there isn't Pixel 2.0 compatible...heh..

Oh, and my browser REALLY DOES NOT like that spore site...it keeps making it crash..lol

My husband has just been using his laptop, so he let me scavenge from his desktop to build one better one out of the two we had... And now the Creature Creator runs for me. It's great fun building critters. My daughter (16) was playing with it while she was here to visit, and she says she wishes she could have her creations as pets in reality.

Heheh...I love making twisted creatures. My personal favorite is the Malaquion Dragon-Fly:

And a ton of other creatures I don't have screenies of. Yeah...I make a lot of twisted creatures that are dragons in a very loose sense. xD
