Face forward and you should be able to hear it now the only thing plugging your ears is your own fear. There is only one enemy and one of you so what is there to be afraid of ? Abandon your fear turn and face him, Don't give an inch. Now advance Never stop If you retreat you will age Be afraid and you'll die NOW SHOUT OUT YOUR NAME !!!

Perhaps because he's a mob and that's something else than a NPC?

    What's power creep?

    What is power creep?

It's when you start the game with Fire I and the expansion gives Fire II then they add a quest for Fire III and then you get the Epic spell Fire IV.

It's when you start with End_Boss_01 hits you for 50! and end with End_Boss_05 kills 50 people at once because that's the only way he can possibly make anything "Difficult".

Or in Istaria it's "Class X does Y, but if you add Class Y and Z and Q and B to Class X it does Y, 1, ~, and %!"

so power creep is an accumulation of multiple calculation requirements for the final effect due to changes in the game? and the ultimate result is excessive lag?

I always thought power creep meant 'everything new coming out makes the old stuff null and void. Go loot the new stuff in order to have top gear'

I understood what you said, but you also said it's somthing to look into. I assume that ment look at the game engine to see if it can be changed to allow it some time in the future.

Very true... but there's nothing stopping a bit of plausibility and 'realism' for that fantasy world.
