how do you use custom maps with google map API as ive looked at doing it in past but not been able to find documentation on how to do it

Indeed you've done a great job on a very useful tool. I'm sure I'll be using it in the days to come as I hunt for a new home ... My only question/comment is (and I hate to critique your work) the information show when a marker is clicked doesn't seem to agree with the mouseover. No matter what marker I choose or filters I use I am seeing 0 available. i.e.

Am I missing something?

I can't get it to work... just gets stuck on "searching"

That happens when your search terms rule out all the possible results. It's more of a medium priority UI issue that I'm working on. Yes, I know, the status display should say something to the effect of "No results".
