    Default Woohoo - new monitor

So I bought myself a new monitor and it lets me play Istaria in 2048x1152 .. oooh!! a whole new world of wide-screen goodness .. and so much UI real-estate.

Grats on your new monitor !
I play with 1920x1200 and also don't want to miss that anymore. Even then it still feels like you could use even more space. :P

Wow, VERY nice! I wants one too!

I'm still stuck on 1024x768. I've got this teenie little square in the middle of my screen about three inches wide that doesn't have windows in it. Makes it kinda hard to play sometimes. XD I'd love to have more space (for even more windows!)

Nice! I just got a new 24in widescreen Asus myself. Native res is 1900x1200 but I find that some text is just too small to read comfortably, so I use 1680x1050. I need to fly around as my draggy to get the real experience like the pic you posted.

Here's a screenshot of Bristugo that I once made at a resolution of 4096x1536 (click to enlarge)

Ditto, except my native resolution is 1680x1050, and I play at 1280x800. The text is so tiny otherwise that it is impossible for me to read unless I press my nose against the monitor.

Does anyone know why so many companies are releasing 16:10 ratio screens? Mine was marketed at 16:9 (even said that on the box), but it is actually 16:10. I find the bars on DVDs (and *cough*downloads*cough*) annoying. Other than that it is a decent enough screen though.

Makes my 1140 x 900 look pitiful. XD Congrats on the new monitor! I wish I could fit a bigger one in here, but I honestly just can't.

I'm very tempted to buy myself a 24in. I also want to do a duo monitor setup.

Any of you know if I do a duo set up do both monitors need to be the same size?

    *casts Resurrect Undead I*

Not too old a thread, so I hardly needed to res it at all.

I went to a few computer stores after christmas (didn't buy anything), and saw some 24 inch monitors. *Drools* I want one! Those 24 inch touch screens are great too, but dang, expensive!

I used to use a 19" LCD, but I recently "upgraded" to play on my 36" LCD TV. Heheh. That 19" monitor looks so tiny now.

One of my good friends is a 'gadget guy'. A large percentage of his income goes into new 'toys'. He currently alternates between playing XBOX 360 and WOW on a 65" TV while watching movies on his other 65" sitting right next to it.

I play Istaria on a laptop with 15" display.
