Thread: For next year... wrapping paper?

Default For next year... wrapping paper?

Would it actually be possible to interoduce wrapping paper to Istaria for gnomekindle instead or along with the grab bag gifts? This would interact with another object and turn it into a presant, when the presant is used it turns back into whatever the object was before it was "wrapped". What do you think? Yes I suppose this has been brought up allready, but to be honest, trying to give "grab bag" gifts to another as a suprised usually turns out as somthing of a dissapointement. A couple of moneybags isn't really that exiting for example as a gift from one Istarian to another. Just a thought.

So the gifts would wrap once only? Or could they be wrapped over and over and over and over (and over and over...)? Or would there be a wrapping paper item that you could use to wrap one item one time only? Ooh, or maybe a wrapping paper container that could hold one stack, and whatever is in it is "wrapped"?

Errr one wrapping paper per use, umm.... wrap, it becomes a presant, as I explained, then use presant, unwrapps preasant. Becomes item that it was before. yes?

Wouldn't paper golems be wood golems? But I think wrapping paper golems would be a funny seasonal event.

I think we need to develop paper before we can make wrapping paper. /9->

Don't we have wood golems already ?

Well we would have to figure out how first as we do not even have paper for writing. We all still write on stone tablets.

We have paper. E.g the directions to different places (the ??? (sorry can't remember the name, the darkstaff collector friend) quests from Dali) are scrolls not tablets. So though we can't make the paper or write on it, it is there and someone knows how to make. We just have to find that someone and learn, by a quest?, to make it ourselves

Wrapping tablets? Hmm, no, don't think that would work...

I was thinking that, though, Sigi. I know I've been given papers with writing for various quests before, so it's definitely out there.
