9082 files later, I'm just a little nervous that this thing has frozen up on me. How long is this supposed to take? D:

Updating from the CD can take a long time as you have 5+ years and 2 merges to work through.

Edit: if it looks to have hang just kill it and start over you will not have to redownload files you already updated. it does not down load and then update. it updates as it downloads.

Yeah I figured it was frozen after a while, so I killed it. THEN I got the Vista compatibility issue, so I killed that too. Now it's running another scan for god knows wh-

Aw dammit, the thing's finished updating, but it just instantly crashes now when I try and run it

Heartshadow. I have a working Vista fix. It has graphics glitches but in about 7 test cases they have all reported 100% success. Contact me by IM and I'll get you setup.

Yep, 100% success. And you do get used to the occassionaly botchy terrain graphics. XD You should see some of the whacky colours I can get Galde to change to, it's actually fun XD

Rules are, highlighted in
Volcanic areas she turns orange,
Normal areas she turns purple,
Icy areas she turns blue,
And I haven't tried in Blighted areas yet Green?

But there's little other ways around it I believe besides dual-booting and that other one which will usually need you to reboot until it works. Until the devs get the client all altered and patched up to work with Vista and stuff (how's that coming along guys? XD).
