A Rebirth of Sorts
Hello all!
I'm not really a new player, but began playing Horizons/Istaria back in 2005, and stayed for close to a year. I joined the Annatar on the Order server, met wonderful folks in and out of the guild, and had a fantastic playing experience.
Sadly, due to real life issues, I had to take an extended leave from Istaria, and from MMOs in general, for some time.
I was especially disappointed to see what happened to the game and the community during EI Interactive's period, and was overjoyed to see Virtrium take the game over and continue development.
The community, crafting, multiclassing and exploration in Istaria were my favorites since playing MMORPGs, and even when I wasn't playing I would often reminisce about my time spent here.
I'm thrilled to be playing again, and to be able to join other players and developers who love the game.
