I right clicked to show details and noticed the "remove" option. This used to be available back in the day when the tablet/trinket buffs/debuffs were first introduced, they were right-click removeable, and when they were corrected, the option no longer was displayed.Interesting..... I never thought to try right clicking and removing something that shouldn't be. Guess you learn something new everyday
Seeing that the option was available, I tried it and was indeed able to remove it.

At one time they were but they were changed to not be able to be removed.
