Help please.

I can't install the new launcher. No matter what folder I pick, it says I don't have a valid installation of istaria on it. Can't figure out what is wrong..and my installation works just fine.

Check the destination directory carefully. The directory entered by using the browse button might have "\istaria" stuck on the end of it.

The original game install directory had to end in \Horizons, such as D:\Horizons or C:\Program Files\Artifact Entertainment\Horizons for it to work. Not sure about the new installer.

The new installer doesn't care as long as there's a horizons.exe or istaria.exe in the destination folder.
