    Default [Fixed] http://support.istaria.com vs http://support.istaria.com

Of course the new support site is https://support.istaria.com (https not http).

The link to support on the main Community page points to http (not https) as do references to support site in some if not all Istaria Automated Emails which reference the support site web address. The in-game support screen reeferences should be updated from http to https as well

If you go to the http://support.istaria.com, it should redirect you automatically to the secure version.

I just checked and it does for me. I'm assuming it does not for you, is what you are saying?

Some browsers redirect some do not. Any chance that the references be updated to avoid forum posts and possibly tickets of "site down"?

In addition to that, something I'd love to see is a stickied thread in the HELP forum that gives instructions on how to get to where you:
    1) Manage account info (somehow I never remember https://accounts.istaria.com, I left the "s" off accounts and had to go through the old website to find it)
    2) Manage payment info (just realized today it's a different place than account info)
    3) Manage characters (including deleting as well as creating them)
    4) Manage your support tickets (mention multiple submit clicks needed?)
    5) Give a gift subscription

Hah. The problem is just that the redirect isn't done properly.

All browsers should support a 3xx redirect header from the server, as well as a location header.

In checking further, the one of my browsers which did not support this redirect was set to inhibit potentially malacious redirects, which as many are aware are far from unknown on the web. Thus in this specific case the inhibiting was a "false positive", provided that the redirect of support.istaria.com from http to https is correctly configured.

It appears that the redirect has been reconfigured and is now working properly.
