I think there's definitely and undeniably a dip since a certain major Korean mmo has come out and people are checking it out.

Fair enough. Istaria will still be here. I'm trying out said mmo but my Istaria sub will still run.

lol yes- this certain mayor Korean mmo
its just annother game-in my eyes (and so say the critics)
I`m not gonna play it atm- nothing really new-do not tell me about flying^^
(and its expensive, and it has pvp)
Flame loves to test new games- after RoM now this one.
I watch him play and sense his enthusiasm.
I`ll let you know if there is something spectacular.

and do not get me wrong: Have fun all who try it!:-)

Koreans always make mmos, thats why I just dismiss them. They're like second place in the mmo business. I don't like most mmos so im gonna stay here.

Nah, don't worry about that. Istaria is held together with essence. It won't fall apart, though it may chirp occasionally.

I think I'll comtinue thinking about it being held together with love instead of wisp poos.

I'm still here. Not as often as I used to be, due to RL time issues. Gaming activity always fluctuates, that is a given. So no worries

    And, I won't touch that-korean-mmo with a ten foot pole :P

All those Korean players are Hardcore, love to grind without sleep for a little virtually satiated bloodlust. The Koreans are definatly in first place when it comes to MMOG's, the Western world fails to compete. But still even the Korean game companies do like our money, and i'm sure they are getting a fair share.

But more on topic, Horizons may very well outlast Virtrium (even though it may be the very same devs working the show). The online entertainment industry is pretty big, whole lotta people spending money here. A successful business venture can turn out to be very lucrative for some happy investors. And even if someone is not getting rich off Horizons at the moment, at least the devs are getting a paycheck i'm sure, everybody needs a way to eat.

Cheers to Virtruim, I raise a toast, may they get the success they deserve!

if Horizons still attract enough players to reach its Cost/Earn Balance then all is fine

I heared Eve online aimed 100k User to earn enough money ^^

I dont know how many customers Horizons need but i hope there are enough :-)

I still remember the great and unique time i had there.

Not even new games offers all features and innovations of Horizons!

I want Istaria to survive, so please, tell me what's going to happen.
There is absolutely nothing that can be done to address this post actually, however, I will say this":

One Day At A Time is my motto. I don't look back at yesterday, cuz its gone already, I don't look to tomorrow, cuz its not even here yet. So, I look at what I can and will do today.

I think you have nothing to worry about. As a returning player that went through Beta and the Days of Bowman I have to say I'm happy with what I see as the future of Istaria.

The wife and I were really surprised at how much we've missed our online life in Istaria. We been back going on a month now and enjoying every minute we get a chance to play. So the future is Bright.

I honestly think it will keep on going strong.
I'm starting to see more new players, bi-peds and dragons alike.

I know I will stay here as long as I can..I'm too addicted to tear away now.
