As many have noticed and mentioned, Chaos has had more "down time" these last couple weeks than normal. In fact, it is easily described as unprecedented amounts of downtime for the Virtrium team. And because it has all been unexpected issues with the server, we haven't been able to communicate with you ahead of time that it would happen. And, of course, "Murphy's Law" strikes every computer system known to man, so the problems with Chaos always seemed to occur late in the day or on a weekend. Our communication with our valued customers has thus not been what we've set as a standard and what you've come to expect from us, and for that we apologize. That is the "bad news".

The good news is that the reason behind the problems, and the extended downtime for Chaos, is that the server itself has new hardware that should significantly increase performance for the server once everything is up and stable again. Our tech team is working with the manufacturer of the new hardware to determine why things aren't working correctly, and what the exact source of the errors are so they can be fixed. This will mean that there will be more downtime for Chaos that Order and Blight don't have in the near future. And it will most likely mean that the downtime will come at inconvenient times due to the "Murphy's Law" effect of computer systems.

So players of Chaos, please be patient with us while the team works to complete the upgrade and get things working properly again.
