F2P to 14 day free trial switch?

Is it possible to switch from the F2P to the 14 day free trial?

And F2P only allows for 1 character total over all servers?

So if I create a toon on chaos but the server goes down for 3 days I cannot create a character on order?

I think it will switch automatically if you make another character, at least I believe I heard of that occurring before.

And yes, F2P is only one character total.

It is one character total and I believe, if I recall reading right, that if you want to F2P you only get to play a Human character, you can't play a dragon or any other race.

I may be wrong on this, but I remember reading that somewhere.

Also, if I am wrong, I am sure someone will step in and correct me.

That's correct - the F2P option is 1 Human character only.

hmm maybe I am confused because I have an old account I would love to play one of my orginal characters but when I log in it says I need to buy a plan? I don't think I can use 1 of my characters? that would be cool to play my high level shaman, but I don't think I can.

A free to play account is a new account only. A trial account is a new account only. To play your old characters, you need to resubscribe.

yup realized it after I submitted it F2P is free to play i thought it meant fee to play...oopsy. I will see you in a month check out my other post for details

Just sorta skimmed the replies thus far, so not sure if it was fully answered, but in response to the OP:

A F2P account is only 1 human character total; you can make a second character/one of a different race, and in doing so your account will be switched to a 14-Day Trial, but if you delete the second/non-human character, it will (or at least should?) switch you back to regular F2P.

This happened to me, I started my F2P account normally, then got the idea to try making a second character and was successful. Then I saw that it said my account was going to expire in a couple weeks. I sent a message to the Support peeps, and they told me that my account would return to normal if it "qualified" for F2P status again (only 1 human character). Once I deleted the second guy, it was fixed.
