it`s complicated, but a whole slew of family RP drama has begun. O.o Reagle left Apophiss to be with RyshanKito XD not going to get into details, but that pretty much sums it up O.o

The last time I logged into Order I was showing a friend of mine the awesome RP community, and some big black dragon was in the middle of dispatching a hatchy in the middle of New Trismus.
The whole thing was way out of context for us as we showed up for the ultraviolence part and didn't see what transpired prior, but it was a very (O.o) moment...
From what I gather in conversations with other Order refuges is that we happened to be on Order during an 'outbreak of eeeevil' - one player used the term 'sparkly pigeons' which I found funny.
I know there are a few really well played dark Dragons on Order with back stories so deep you need a lot of rope and a lantern to really figure it all out - but I think that because they are so well played and sort of 'edgy' compared to a lore-bound Istarian Dragon, that they get a lot of copycat attempts from the new folks coming through... I hear that it occasionally gets to a point you can't swing a wet Gnome without hitting a half dozen "evil, yet so misunderstood *presses back of hand to forehead* dramatically melancholy" Dragons...
I keep pondering trying again on Order - there's nothing holding me to Chaos now that EOI is essentially dead... Maybe I'll go sneak a peek this weekend.

Empirical Lore. NT seems to be the hub for the "Evil, undead, blighted,
vampire, internal Angst/DRAMA, Glorified Twilight Drivel" RP.
(Get the idea I don't like that kind of Non-Lore RP?)
We Gifted are bound together in a common cause with the Living Races
to combat the Withered Aegis. Any RP contrary to that should be taken
private. (and I just won't budge from that POV.)
My suggestion - Get away from NT to see what RP is like with
others. I did have a pleasant encounter on NT recently, with Romirez,
another Dragon, and a Hatchling (I forget their names). Give
Order another chance, I am sure you will enjoy yourself more once
you get away from the RP-centricities of NT.
I stay away from NT as much as possible, since it has taken over where
LAG-zoon left off years ago. I have suspicions many others do the
same.

To be fair, I've had a ton of fun, non-dramarific RP in New Tris.
Mind that you don't use a single color to paint the entire canvas.

Agreed entirely with Nambroth.
I have had wonderful RP in New Trismus, it also allows for me to actually greet new RPer's on the server. Just because of some bad experiences in the past, doesn't mean they are there now with the RPer's that currently reside in that location.

I agree as well. New roleplayers can bring fresh RP and new styles, a good thing for the Order shard's community.
