Default Kick Player from channel button

    Heya mates

is there a way to put the "kick player out of chat" away to another place?
currently its placed next to promote button...

well.. if you want to promote a player and you can't aim exactly with your mouse so sometimes a player gets kicked...

    my suggestion is:

    - put this button to a other place
    or
    - put a note that say "do you really want to kick this player? YES or NO

    thanks

I fourth that. In the past I do remember kicking the odd player accidentally. That said, is it really necessary to promote everyone like normally happens in some channels? :P

It helps to make them both keybound...
I havent used the 'action' since Rv figured out where keybindings could be changed... about 10 minutes after starting to play...
However I like the original suggestion.

This would be a great change...so embarassing when you kick someone accidentally

Done as of next patch. Promote and kick moved to opposite ends of the button line.

This is also an easy change - but I'm not sure I follow .. you hit attack when you wanted to recall?

The RUNP would of course strike first, as an iron boot is slow.

But the boot does more damage... after converting it to, oh, let's say, spirit?

    Crush that spirit! CRUSH IT!!

not a big deal, val - once you have died a few times you learn to make sure, so it is just me as the eternal noob, i guess, but here is a screenie that might show you what i mean.....
i have tried resizing and positioning the action field, but somehow i still do it, so i just live with the **** thing as it is...

my recall is just above my attack button, so yes, i do sometimes hit attack when i meant to recall and save what few hp i still have......

not even sure what would work, really = maybe switch stop action and attack? that way, even if you accidently hit attack when you meant to gather, it won't hurt so much.....

Guess I am just being picky here, but doing anything other than recall when you are trying to save your butt would be a problem, in my opinion.

The recall button probably needs to be set off to itself, perhaps made larger than the others, or made into a movable icon that can be set into the toolbar. (Or, perhaps, remove the attack button entirely, as there is a hotkey for attack, plus the skills/spells on the toolbar. Few games have an attack icon, anyway, except for one you can drag to the toolbar.)

I wouldn't want to attempt to gather, create or trade a monster I am desperately trying to get away from.

Silly thought ran through my mind........bubble hearth dragon. Shield of gold and recalling.......

Though to be serious, I think the only times I have tried to recall myself out of harm's way was falling into deep water and generally you drown anyway.

I have also run for years with the action buttons in the compact format and in the upper left corner of my screen for all my char, so that recall button is top left no matter who I have logged in.

I will second, third, forth, not sure what the count is; for scooting the kick button away from the promote button.

You do not use the TAB key to attack? or backspace for gathering?
