If you have a plot or lair, you can place stuff in storage containers to be picked up by your alt. That is the closest system we have. Otherwise, you have to pass it off to a third party.

On a related note, to pass coin from one character to another, have your poor character consign something cheap like a chunk of ore for however much you want him to receive (or as much as they can afford in consignment fee), then have your richer character buy it from the consigner.
