hehe - Back when it was Istaria, when it first launched, when there were multiple fansites and it was owned by Atari.
The devs DID go to dragoncon. I interviewed one of them (Amon was that you? I honestly dont remember anymore lol - Im' thinking it wasn't but I can't remember) for another fan site! But unforutnately, I was never able to publish the interview due to ..I guess internal politics and thigns that were discussed and said that I guess couldn't go on record at that time and then it became out of date.
But I've actually interviewed a Horizon Dev - once upon a time. At Dragoncon. Sitting on the floor in a hallway...
Must have been first year after release I'm guessing. I know I had like..20 or 30 questions we discussed and it was so awesome for me, little old player who was volunteer on a fan site (of my first MMO no less!) interviewing and talking with an actual gamne developer!
Has never happened since..with any game dev...at all...lol. =)

Oh! And if you yourselves can't go I'll be VERY happy to be a point of contact. Send them to us and I'll put them out on the various 'free stuff' tables throughout the Con. I usually work security with my daughter so I'll be making my rounds anyway.
