Some news straight from the login website:

- The procedure to update the certificate on the login website will take a few days as we need to move to a different certificate and a different company. Some DNS issues that caused some connection troubles in the past days should have been now fixed. Just ignore the warning about the expired certificate.

- We've managed to find and fix an issue that was causing problems creating new characters giving the maximum characters allowed error. This should never happend again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused to everyone that suffered of this problem.

Thanks for the update Luca, but what does the expired certificate do with the payment system? I've always been told not to use credit cards on sites without a valid certificate.

The expired certificate doesn't mean that the website is not secure anymore.

Certificates "expire" (but still work 100%) usually after one year as it's strongly suggested to change them periodically to improve security.

just one comment... this community has the right to set rules of conduct.
personal insults and telling a person to "go to hell" is not something I want to happen here.
what would be the next step? Luca using his freedom to curse back at you?
freedom is a nice concept, but cannot handled by many... they forget that it comes with responsibility.

don't get me wrong, I would like to see this game in other hands than GN.

Well, for me will be enough to get lairs and ARoP on christmas, and also that stats cup 100/100 is bad (I am 62 but to future :-) )

Why they dont hire programators from this country? There are hundreds of programators on FREE servers of Ultima Online, working for free. They will be happy to work somewhere for money !
