From Old Guard Roleplayer to Newbie Istarian Dragon

I've been a roleplayer for ten years, and only just recently did I find Istaria. I love dragons but have only ever found one decent dragon game, so I was thrilled.

However, I'm a bit iffy on controls still, having come from other MMOS, and I'd love a bit of a hand. My first question being, How exactly does one glide? I found the Khutit NPC but he didn't really help.

Gliding is disabled by default for whatever reason. You need to turn it on in your options menu. That said, welcome to Istaria. :3

gliding is like moving and jumping - once you have enabled gliding in your options, you jump off something and use your arrow (or whatever) keys to move. you stop flying and drop if you stop, and you can (fruitlessly) flap your wings by hitting 'q' (i think, it's been a while since i played mw)....
