New Dragon Quest's Reward XP

Im just curious as to why the xp reward with all of the new dragon quests is extremely sporadic and varies on progression depending on the skill line being quested. Couple examples being the Spiked Scales quest line always giving 248000 xp, not going up from VIII to IX or from IX to X. Also, some level X quests give xp where others do not. On this one, I don't see why any of the X's would give xp since you have to be level 100 in order to start it so xp is a moot reward. And then, xp across the same tier quests GREATLY varies. The xp range for the tier 9 quests ranges all the way from 248000 up to 569750 with other amounts in the middle.

The only reason I comment on this is because the prior/existing quest lines for the most part keep the same xp reward across all quests of the same tier so I did not know if this was an intentional change, or possibly even just a fill-in amount for blight which will be made consistant once brought to live.

These sound like bugs.

All dragon quests of a given level should give the same amount of experience now.

In order to fix them, though, I'll need specifics. There is some variance within each tier range because of the level of the mob being fought. For example, there are two different possible experience ranges for T1 quests.

• 10 to 11 750
• 15 to 16 3375
• 20 to 21 7000
• 25 to 26 11875
• 30 to 31 17500
• 35 to 36 25125
• 40 to 41 33000
• 45 to 46 42000
• 50 to 51 51000
• 55 to 56 68250
• 60 to 61 86375
• 65 to 66 104000
• 70 to 71 124000
• 75 to 76 153500
• 80 to 81 182000
• 85 to 86 214250
• 90 to 91 244500
• 95 to 96 284875

About half the quests in any grouping are "low end experience quest", as I said, depends primarily on the level and difficulty of the mob being fought.

I will look at the Spiked Scales quest line specifically, it's possible that in updating so much at once I did not get the amount of experience given updated.

Accurate Breath X gives no xp. So I guess with the X's it was only that Spiked Scales hiccup with the flat amount across the board.

I am confused as to what you are saying now after looking at what you've reported about Accurate Breath quests, as those are exactly double the values of what experience for those quests should be.

Why do you believe there is a bug or problem with the experience rewards compared to what I've posted? (Just a to be 100% sure, experience on Blight is doubled, so the values I listed above need to be multiplied by 2 in order to know what you should be getting experience wise.)

Spiked Scales quests I looked at, and yes, those were bugged. And it looks like the one Dragon's Reach was missed for removing crafting exp. But just skimming the rest, I see values that appear right to me.

Are there specific quests that you think are somehow off other than those I listed above?

The response with the amounts was moreso just getting specific values posted so that it could be seen if any where out of line other than those already pointed out.

Looking at the values, an I could just be blindly horrible at math right now, it looks like the Primal Instant Heal xp values are off.

VIII wants Giant Ice Beetles, which would mean the xp reward should be 428500 on Blight.

IX want Giant Fire Beetles, which would mean the xp reward should be 569750 on Blight.

Looking at Drain Strike as well:

VIII - Forest Oastics - is 275100, s/b 428500
IX - Emerald Golems - is 341850, s/b 569750
