cant get passed loading screen

after i login with my character selected from the launcher, the window opens up with the image of the Skulk, and at the bottom the message seems to hang at the phrase: Loading World History (some # here that varies each time i try).

i have no other connectivity issues, the game is on my firewall list, and it is covered by my UAC on win7.

any suggestions?

That is an error in the world cache.

It happens sometimes.

The best thing to do is go into the world cache folder and delete everything inside of it. It will force the game then to re-snatch all the files and thus get rid of the corrupted file.

C:\Program Files\Istaria\world_cache <-- that is pretty much where you want to go (unless you told it to install somewhere else).

Again, just delete everything inside the folder, not the folder itself.

First step is to manually delete your world cache and see if that helps.

Goto c:\program files\istaria\world_cache

Delete folder called 'chaoshorizons' or 'orderhorizons' depending on what shard you log onto.

Restart the patcher, choose full scan as an option and attempt to login again.
