Thread: Help Request: Item Preview

    Default Help Request: Item Preview

We occasionally receive reports that item preview isn't working. Your item preview should look like the screen shot below. Based on reports already received, we're now looking for reports of BOTH working and non-working item preview screens.

To confirm that your preview isn't working,
    - place your mouse over a tool or weapon (potions, etc. do not have previews)
    - wait 10 seconds
    - you should see a 3D version of your item rotating

If you don't see an item preview within 10 seconds, you might have the broken preview. Please note that we've identified some cases where the preview is slow. This is why we're saying to let your mouse sit for 10 seconds over an item.

If you can reproduce this problem, we'd like to request that you email us your preferences files to [email protected] - with any notes or suggestions that might be helpful.

    Default Help Request: Item Preview

We'd like to request that you email us at [email protected] with the following information:
    - make and model of video card. For example, PNY Quadro FX 1800
    - Graphics memory. For example, 768MB
    - If you know it, graphics driver version number. For example, 290.10
    - Computer OS and type. For example, Windows XP SP3 64-bit
    - Do you see or not see the preview? For example, "I got preview action!" or "No preview for me..."

Note that we're now requesting those that do have a working item preview also submit reports so we can track this bug with better results. Please do NOT submit a support ticket about this. Use the email address which we've set up temporarily for collecting this data instead.
