    well as of last night my pc died ,,, and atm i am using my mom old #$% pc that cant run the game or any thing elc ... cant even get skype on thins thing ... .. i dont know when i am get a new pc .. . . of for now i can only pop in the froms where and there when i can.. i'll miss u all ..

    sadly i never got a new pc .. my mom did .. she got a new labtop and well i never got a new pc XP and the one i have is soo old .. thay dont make the new parts for it soooo ..... atm i'm using my mom's Old pc she had b4 she got her lobtop and its ...CR@@@@PPPPP ... .. cant play any thing on it XP got skyp to work oddly .... was thinking it was going to xeplod XD

    anyway, i'm in the same situation you are in, my current computer is dying. just ordered a replacement. spend just under 600 bucks for a quality rig. i'm salvaging old parts from my old rig as is my tradition. been doing that for 7 years. good to hear you can at least afford a new computer though.

    Time to go on Craigslist and find a working computer tower for $200 bucks. Don't discount this opportunity to buy a ultra cheap computer to last a year until you can get a better one.

    Craigslist is a great place to buy fairly new (3-5 years old) working computers from people that have recently upgraded and no longer want their old computer. Atleast look into it.

    i still putting the parts on a list . one what is what .. still window shopping :P i am hoping once i get my car bill payed down i can really start to pice thing out .. the list i have atm is a list of parts my step dads ..buddy put to gather that is a good and Cheep pc <_< i am hoping i can may be go a bit bigger XD in hardware.. don't know just yet .

    Cheaper yes... Same power? Far from it! Intel washes AMD away in every aspect when it comes to power, processor speed, processor cache, transfer speeds, etc.

    AMD fell out of the race years ago as far as power goes. AMD just focuses on cheap, basic speeds to sell to the cheapest of computers to make $400 of the shelf rigs for consumers to buy.

    Are they quality? Yes Just as good as Intel? Not even close.

    With all your old one needs you`re probably best starting fresh, and getting a new PC. when my old tower croaked. the motherboard was too outdated for most of the new parts, so I just went to Walmart and got a new tower. XD
    actualy pretty nice considering I only paid $400.00 for it, and it came with speakers, a mouse, and keyboard.
    maybe consider doing something like that? Just gotta shop around for a descent one.
