If it just got restarted then you may need to wait a bit longer before trying as some of the world servers may still be processing start-up events.

3 hour later i still cannot make marble bricks and ironsilk spools ,
mithril works fine as does sandstone and cedar.

Marble is also broke for Kaylee as well.

Can you please confirm for me what you mean by "broken" or "not working"?
I know what I'm experiencing when I try, but I don't want to put it out there and make suggestions that may not be what you are experiencing.

open creation widow choose qty and press create.
get message in bottom left of window in grey creation in progress,
this stays like it is for a while then returns to normal and nothing created

I've heard from the developers that a hot fix has been handed off to the Facility Manager and will be released shortly to Blight. If you're still having this issue after 10PM PST, November 26, 2012, please post back on this thread.
