Istaria on Steam Greenlight

Wasn't sure if you all knew this or not, but Istaria is on the Steam Greenlight program! So if you get a chance and use Valve's Steam application, please go vote for us there so that we can get fully on the Steam platform.

Please do not use this post as a place to bash Steam.

Nice exposure. Have had a few Steam buddies ask about the game (since I told them what I played) so something like this is great advertisement. Kickstarter and Greenlight projects are really pushed, kudos.

I supported the Greenlight. It would be great if I could reply to my Steam messages while playing Istaria.
Do we know of a treshold or how many votes Istaria has to get in order to be added to Steam?

I'd imagine so. They've supported EQ for a number of years before it went free to play, though the game still has subscriptions. Same with FFXI. It was a popular method in obtaining game registration codes with more billing options without having to register accounts with credit cards via Sony or PlayOnline.

I don't know how many votes it takes, but I just voted for it to get the Greenlight on Steam. I'll also tell Herman about being able to vote for Istaria on Steam when he gets home tonight.
