Just had an idea how to spend our "useless" coins:
We've got adventure and crafting trainers, right? Why don't we spend coins to the trainer and get some training (xp)?
how do you think about it?

In short no.. bad idea too easily abused......
I like this idea:
Why not spend 10g for half a level?
Multiclasser- who always have too much coin will happyly invest in that.
Or our "pure", rich adventurer- why not give them a very few craft level via coin?
Newer players- who still have to learn and need exercise will never have enough coin to level up that way.
Nobody should. So it has to be a VERY expensive thing. A real money sink.
Nothing else.
If you are crazy enough to spend all your coin for so few xp- be it^^ Your choice^^
And just because I have no idea: How to abuse this?
YOU told me to play a dragon!
No. It is just too unbalanced. Which is probably why no other mmo that I know of out there uses this type of system.
I would think even if a gold to xp system like this was implemented, then it should be beneficial to newly created characters as it is said that it is difficult to get the first thirty levels. Vets with at least one single school at 100 don't need a system like this, they just go stand in maggots in doom or grind away on t6 spawn.
You see an Ice Wall Corner, I see a Tardis."
"Pen Pineapple Apple Pen"
Ok example. Vet gives new player 5 gold New player spends said gold to gain levels New player is now say 50th level with no idea of the abilities acquired thus far or how to play the game properly and quickly gets frustrated and leaves.
The only way this might possibly work is if it enables a rating 100+ to open a special trophy hunter that will take any tier 6 trophy at any level but you have to pay HIM/HER and you only get xp back perhaps to limit it you can only use it x times per day.or it gets more expensive EVERY time it's used.
