Being able to select where crafting stuff goes

I'd like to be able to tell the game where to put my goods,when I'm crafting. For instance I've just mined 1,000 iron ore,and need to refine it into bars. I don't want it dumping that in my inventory,I'd rather it goes in my cargo disk. Is it feasible to introduce an option where I can select where it goes,rather than opening my inventory and the bag and dragging it from my inventory to the cargo disk?
