Knight of Creation,

What is the role of this Prestige school? From what I can tell it should have been a Hybrid of Mage and warrior but few spells are implemented, and its Magic wheedling side is very constricted.

Can I get some suggestions and info on this school?

So what is there function in party's and such?

Why are people telling me to use 2 handed weapons when the main skill for KNOC Summon blade of creation is a 1 handed skill ?

How should i build armor for my school ?

Is there a better school ?

Is there Improvements coming for KNOC in the near future ?

Within a party they are either Tanks or DPS... as much as such roles exist

Ok KNoC can be used in one of 4 ways.

1)Hybrid combination of magic and melee which is probably whats intended.. using either two handed or sword and shield

2)Heavy melee offense.. pumping alot of training points into two handed and str and using magic as a back up

3)Defensive melee.. Making use of the excellent shield usage that KNoC's get but clearly they suffer from a small amount of DPS limitation

4) Magic offense.. they are mages and can cast ALL arcane magic schools but like Battlemages can wear plate.


now its all a matter of preference.. if you fight defensive then use a shield if you want max DPS use a two handed sword spend your TP and specialise your armour to go the route you want. I go hybrid 2 handed alot of tp in power two handed slash and strength my armour having dex focus and armour use.

the thing with istaria is there aren't really "better schools" just schools to suit preference. I love the concept of the Battlemage and the KNoC.

As for improvements for KNoC well there is a thread in talk to the team... but I don't like where they are taking some of the changes essentially ruining the best buff we have but thats a different subject.
