Istaria will run under the x86 version of Windows 10 Tech Preview. The box I'm using to test just meets the minimum requirements for Windows 10 and the performace wasn't great; but it did run.

I tried to bring up the fps meter and /fps didn't seem to work. Has the command been changed?

Try /window fpswindow

I'm going to try the Win 10 preview soon. If anyone else is interested in trying it out too (would recommend installing a different machine or its own partition), you can see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview (Sign in with your Windows Live account).

It'll give you a product key and a link to download an installer or an ISO image to burn.

I'm glad W10 Preview appears to work alright, considering Windows 8/8.1 has to automatically install/enable DirectPlay upon installation, it's good to hear that legacy dependency hasn't poofed from Windows yet.

For a different display window (including fps) you can use /window lagwindow.

I wouldn't tell that Hz is running on Win10 just because of a technical preview. Lots can change until the final release is out.

Does anyone run Istaria on WIndows 8/8.1 64bit? If it runs on those, likely be fine on win10 as well.

Yes, it just prompts you to install DirectPlay (disabled by default) and it runs fine.
