Ever had a Macaroni Pie from Greggs the bakers, that is actually warm?

They always say, 'oh there isn;t much heat left in that', but I have never had one that has...I had a Cheese and Onion Pastie once that was so hot it would put the Apple Pies from McDonalds to shame. (not that i eat there)

most food i get from greggs is warm...but then i gain i usualyl drop on with a fresh batch straight outta the oven

as i say it only seems to be the Macaroni Pies that are doomed to 'room temperature' existance. Can you confirm this?

next time you are in Greggs, just ask if the Pies are warm, bet they say no...

Gregg's? Up here where I reside in the Highlands of bonnie Scotland we don't have those particular bakery joints. I get my pasties and such from Harry Gow.

When I buy a sausage roll from them, I get it nice and warm but really, I don't buy many warm goods from them most of the time - I love their cheese & pickle sandwiches, in fact I've got one right now. ^^

The reason for the macaroni pies never being hot.. is because they only ever have to make one batch a year. They are yeuk *grins*

I think you must be the only person to buy them .. so they prolly import them from every other Greggs to your local one since they actualy found a buyer.

The steak slices are alot nicer.. and the custard/caramel doughnuts mmmm

lol..aye, they probably do ship them all the the Greggs, near my flat...

I have seen some gaps in the nice formation of pies they put out, so someone else must be buying them...unless that big grumpy woman serving them, sneaks off with them...hmmm

I think the sausage rolls are only 10% meat the rest, ummm, pinky goodness...don;t know why it is pink, probably dyed that colour to avoid even more unpleasantness.

I'll be damned if there are any Pineapples in the Pineapple Cakes!

I remember moving into my flat and thinking, nice one, A Greggs just around the corner..a year later a big sign went up, GREGGS CLOSING DOWN...I was shattered...then a week later in a Shop space 20 metres CLOSER to my flat, another sign came up...Greggs Relocating to this Premesis!

why is it the mankey stuff mac donalds do they let you have loads of it but the nice stuff like those mini dunin doughnut and those salad things they do with chicken they so them in mini portions or have hardly any meat in like in the salad chicken things [8-)]
