Thread: More adventure schools for Dragons

Default More adventure schools for Dragons

    Well hello,
I am here to ask players who play on dragon characters if they want more schools for dragons because I know I do.
Can you imagine how cool it would be to have a dragon healer, dragon mage (all dragons have primal magic so why not specialise at it), dragon flyer (improves speed). It would be also great if all abilities and skills from all schools would be usable in any other.
Tell me what do you think and if I get enough positive replies I will send a ticket for develo[ers to have a new idea.

This has been suggested over and over.
all have gotten the same reply: "It's not possible with how Dragon Adventurer (DRAG) currently works."
a big problem being that the main power for DRAG comes from quested abilities (roughly 80% of my main abilities that I frequently used were quested ones, couldn't care much about the normal level gained ones), a big offender was Gold Rage, with 3 attacks, 500% damage and 15 sec recycle.

now you might go "but those were changed not too long ago!" and you'd be correct, so yes, there's opportunities for new dragon adv schools, in fact, Amon has posted examples of what he'd like to do on the forums a while back, I can't seem to find the exact post though... Anyhow, the proposition is already there, it's just that the original dragon school needs a lot of tweaking for multi-schooling to work and not become insanely overpowered.

sorry for the long post, but I feel like a quick search on the forums regarding dragon multi-schooling would've proven the same thing.

I think Meeps said pretty much what needed to be said about why there's no other schools currently.

This thread is where Amon started suggesting things to do with new dragon schools. Though no mention of any time period we should be looking at to see them implemented if they are at all.
