The Void Crystal of Strength got the same effect as Void Crystal of Power:

Extra damage 75-90 spirit
Duration 1:00

Haven't tried those myself yet. But perhaps the strength one is adding melee damage, and the power one adding to spell damage?

I cross checked the descriptions on these items. There's no description, so at least we know this isn't a display issue. I've let the designers know so they can get it fixed.
