Thread: Employment Opportunity: Trandalar, Valley of Repose

Default Employment Opportunity: Trandalar, Valley of Repose

If you are bored, are a high level crafter and looking for something to do and make some money (or trade) then look no further...

I'm building a huge plot in Trandalar: Valley of Repose and to put it bluntly the numbers are quite daunting:
    • 76,920 Adamantium Bars
    • 47,360 Bright Essence Orbs
    • 75,900 Radiant Essence Orbs
    • 115,500 Steelsilk Spools
    • 92,400 Thornwood Boards
    • 69,300 Travertine Bricks

On the main plot just southwest of the arrival pad there are 11 (yes, Eleven) Expert Shops planned and partially constructed. I don't have a lot of money and don't know what the going rate is nowadays, but I'll pay what I can to those willing to help build my dream plot (whether it's raw materials, processed materials or applied products); I also have a plethora of Novians I can trade for services rendered as well (almost nothing in the T4 area and light in T2).

Numbers above are based on the theory that it is possible to craft and apply the materials at optimum (15/15, 20/20, and 2/unit).

Leaves messages here are look for me, Aaelefein, in-game.

    Thank you,
    Aaelefein

*Vaults are open, there are Jman Blacksmith, Stoneworking, and Scholar shops on the nearby plot and in my Dragon's lair (Treyvon) all machines are T5. Public space can be made available upon request.

I took a look yesterday- looks great so far!!

Flame (Lupussan) and me will throw some essence stuff in asap.

You know, that we can plant ferns and tulips and sunflowers?
If you like- I`ll try to get some seeds- forgot how to- but will find out.

Nice to have that big plot build up finally. Thank you for that:-)

Thanks...tell me how I can repay your assistance.

Yes, know about the flowers and stuff, but was told the seeds are available only during the spring and or summer festival events - so they will have to wait a bit to germinate.

Wholly agree with your sentiments concerning the plot being utilized! I have wanted this plot for years for two reasons: Have always dreamed of having a 'Dream' plot such as it is currently planned and 2) Because those that had it before never did anything with it. Reason one might have been subdued if the previous owners had actually done something with it but alas that never came to be. So I'm just happy that last week I went walking by to my other plot and saw the flag - other PC was up getting a year-long sub and minutes later I finally acquired that long sought after plot.

Oh...to those that are helping - the order I would prefer materials are applied to shops are thus:
    1. Blacksmith
    2. Scholar
    3. Stoneworking
    4. Clothworking
    5. Woodworking
    6. Confectioner
    7. Jeweler
    8. Tinkerer
    9. Alchemist
    10. Mill
    11. Leatherworking

Again, thank you for your assistance and kind comments.

Also, instead of placing silos, does anyone have anything against the idea of adding in the Journeyman version of the single-machine shops for public storage/access? Seems it would be less visually intrusive and actually more efficient with 4 buildings offering the same stack/space as 12 T4 silos. Input is kindly appreciated.

no payment pls- we work on it for free whenever there is time
I just said that we do essence work- so others might choose something else
( and I have no sentiments if this plot is used: Its just great to see LIFE in that deserted area-
not sure if Babyfloh`s plot will exist much longer- haven`t seen her for a while
I gave her all our spare seeds btw^^ )

Most Bright and Silk work is complete, what remains can be finished from the novians I'll gain back when deconning the nearby jman shops.

Have now begun the laborious T6 construction where I have decided to concentrate for the moment on single resources - once Travertine, Adamantium, and finally Thornwood are complete on all shops, will then do one shop at a time when it comes to Steelsilk and Radiant Essence.

WOW - Thanks, but how the heck did you get that done so fast? I thought for sure that and the steelsilk will/would be the hardest to do and with the most time involved. VERY IMPRESSED - Thank you!

Managed to quarry 102,000 Travertine slabs yesterday (I quarried, Treyvan hauled). Was enough to finish all but two shops which I hope to finish today...then it's onto Adamantium. On a side note - that work was worth a whopping 30 million experience for my Mason (Slabs->Bricks, Crafting/Applying Blocks and Keystones).

Also, will get those expert single-machine shops opened to the public today...
