    • Character’s load default appearance, then reload appearance from server


    This is not something you will notice visually, but expect loading times to be somewhat faster with this client.

    Edit: I was just informed this also fixes the head swapping khutit-glitch.

    • Idleanimation single file controlling multiple NPCs with same name (like ‘New Rachival Defender’ )
    • Add right click ignore for players
    • Fix movement of pets on irregular terrain (they will stay on the terrain when running really fast)
    • Allow some monsters to stick to the the terrain

    Npc chat is still broken.

    Issue for awhile now: Cannot stretch the hotkey edit window. The window stays one size, and you just expand the outer shell of the window. Really annoying when working on a hotkey that equips 21 items...

    The way the npc chat window works is a bit goofy too, perhaps the section with the quests could be moved to the top, and each half (quests, vs chat) could be individually resized? Not really sure the best solution, Maybe just change it back to the old way it worked, instead of separating out the quests.

    As far as the quest offerings chat goes, Perhaps writing a single sentence of npc chat for each available quest, with the link to start the quest as part of the sentence, or an "Accept Quest" link at the end of each? Something that makes it a more natural looking conversation.

    I'll post that in suggestions.

    Fixes:
    • Hubert Hufflebing and Lem Berenrick now use the proper channels when talking to the player during The Cult of Telak questline.
    • The two new dragon markings (tiger striping and ripple) have gotten a hefty anti-pixelation treatment and should appear much smoother and clearer.


    Features:
    • The dragon eating animations have been redone to be much more natural to the race.
    • Create Special Target Frame For GM
    • Support for teleporter regions
    • Idle animation support for a quest not being completed

    I'd like to add that this specific part of this client update:
    Support for teleporter regions
    Will change up the UI of the teleporters, and it will need a delta (that will be applied to blight soon) to properly work, and thus using the blight client on live is not recommended.

    Fixes:
    • Gem resource nodes are sometimes colorless
    • Correction for texture env / specularity rendering and multiplied env / specularity when re-equipping items


    Feature:

    • The beginning of the revamp for emotes with sound has begun. Dragons are the first to receive changes, though other races will be following suit in the future.This means:
      • All emotes for the dragon stages (hatchling through ancient) no longer require or support /emote_s to add a sound to it. Sound is played by default. Emote sounds can, however, be silenced still with /setpref muteemotes true
      • Nearly all dragon emotes have had their sounds changed to use existing and/or more natural sounds rather than music, sound effects, or chimes.
      • The emote “dance” has been renamed to “cower” and given updated text to reflect the new purpose.
      • A replacement brand new “dance” emote animation has been added to fill the gap.
      • Emotes have been placed in proper alphabetical order.
    • Keep in mind that these changes will likely make the Blight client incompatible with Live upon release when it comes to what emote is playing on each individual person’s screen. This also means any player modifications that edit the emote files will break your game’s compatibility with other players’ emotes.

    • Region columns in the teleport window no longer cut off the region names and the destination list now properly alphabetizes by default.


    Simulation Fixes:
    • Adjust all combat so there’s a 2% of failure, and 2% chance of success, no matter the stats
    • Change DeathPointTimerReduction so that it only checks adventure school (was checking craft)

    NOTE: this client currently has a critical flaw, the casting bar has a chance to crash your game and which in turn has a chance to corrupt game files, please avoid using the patch to blight option until a fix is created. Thank you.

    • Environment Effects Persist (sometimes)
    • Provide feedback if unable to update java launcher
    • Ulmus Beetles (green) appear red on certain graphic cards
    • Floating black spot behind the fins on dragons using head style 2
    • Mobile resource nodes will perform proper distance to gather check
    • When a dragon dies in the air, death to ground animation is shown to everyone surrounding (no longer stuck in the air)
    • Special effect locators for bows fixed (for playing special effects with bow weapons)

    Blight Client 395.60.1 (also on live already as I'm posting this)

    Fixes:
    • Effect Binary broken for Tomb of Ashlander’s mist
    • Standing up animation from sleep that causes the animation to loop
    • Dung Piles now use correct textures
    • Ancient Dragon Mummy costume no longer gets you stuck in lairs, mines, and portals.
    • Adult Dragon sleep animation now properly loops again.
    • Missing textures for Tech Kit: Champion
