Dragon Quest Glitch [resolved]

so I decided to reset my character and play with a friend, and when i went to the first guy to get my quest, the blue quest link didn't show; it just became a bunch of random numbers glitch.jpg

EDIT: I've remade the character and relogged/restarted twice

That screenshot looks like you have an obsolete copy of the chat window interface.

Can you try doing a full scan (Troubleshoot button)? If that doesn't help, then check your resources_override folder for any files named UIChatWindow.def and UICoreControls.def . There's some older copies of Chat Mod (20 tabs) and Better Spikes mod that might have those and cause the chat to misbehave.
