Sig and Avatar pics?

Erm....where have my signature and avatar pics gone?
They were here a few days ago....
...have we changed settings again as I don't have permissions now?

Well, considering no one else has lost theirs, I don't think any permissions have changed... Have you tried resetting them manually on your own yet? That's odd, though. I was wondering why you had [SIGPIC] as your signature when I saw your recent posts.

Edit: Nevermind, I have no avatar. I just realised. Yet, in my options, I have it set and it exists. Looking around, it seems everyone lost their forum-uploaded signatures and their avatars, too. I have my signature because it's just an image uploaded onto another site and displayed using [IMG] tags.

It seems the Withered Aegis have invaded the forums, the avatars and signatures being the current victims.

Was that little dot beside our names there before? If its Green it means that person is online. Put your mouse pointer on it and it says online now (green) or offline (white).

If that's new, maybe its screwing up the avatars.

This has been around for some time, so it cannot be the cause.

edit: though now I am wondering why my avatar seems fine...things to ponder..

Your avatar, Amon's, Guaran's, and Cegaiel's seem to be the only ones I've noticed that stayed so far.

I find it weird that some for others works but not mine an to others that do not work. I cannot seem to fix the issue since it tells me, "No Avatar specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator." Either way the editor of the forums will have to be fix the issue if nobody else and solve this issue.

Wowsers, very strange. Mine still shows; other than devs, is there a date cut off (e.g., forums join date) before which the pics show and after which they do not?

Awdz, is your avatar hosted externally? (As in, did you not upload it to the forums and rather gave a link to a site?) Guaran mentioned that his is. It'd explain why we have these odd ones out with their avatars still beyond the devs.

Mine is a screenshot that I'm pretty sure I must have uploaded, as I'm awful at trying to link externally hosted pics on these forums.

Currently the forums will not let me edit or add an avatar.

I cannot display my avatar as well, I can see it is uploaded, however , the only option I can see is "Do not use an Avatar" which deletes it. So I believe its likely a permission issue.

I cannot test with an external avatar as the option to use one is not there. How odd

Any update on when these will be turned back on? Permissions problem by the looks of it.

The administrators are aware of the issue. It's a vBulletin security issue with uploaded files (uploading has also been disabled for now). After some back-end updates/upgrades are performed then they will be enabled again. No eta, but I suspect it would be a few days at minimum.
