Aggressive sprinting?

Since yesterday, every time I activate the Sprint ability, my character (biped) does a punch animation.

Could be personality affecting, performance enhancing drugs. Might want to get him tested..

The attack animation happens with dragons with sprint too, as well as activating on dragons when craft abilites (eg. Dragon Quarrying VI) are used.

I don't like it and i HOPE it's a bug/been overlooked rather than a new feature, lol.

very likely an oversight because of a new feature (you'll notice that determination now plays the crackneck emote for example), if people could list everything that currently does this it would be appreciated.

Update

Tested some berserker abilties on my ped as well as some masterables. I have a theory that any abilties/spell that required no animation from the character is plagued with this "new feature" (in this case punching)

it does look good on primal roar.
In this case Acceleration could perform /victory emote or something as if dragon is preparing for flight. maybe galewind animation. but its a little too long for that I think.

Ok gone thru the A's to the E's for what i have available (on healer) seems just about anything doesn't do damage does the punch (or kick animation) so far.

Guess it doesn't hurt on most of them (its quick) maybe just people should list ones that seem to annoy them?

Add Allowance of Power for dragons.
In regards to the suggestion of an animation for acceleration, please no. Waiting for an animation defeats the advantage of acceleration. You want to get airborne quickly as possible.
