Default a farewell for Laughing Otter

    dear Istarians,

Velveeta told us in her thread, that our friend Laughing Otter passed away.

I feel that all who knew him, his friends , guildies our colleagues
might want to join a little funeral service I shall organize.
    So this is an invitation.

As far as I can see, there is no plot on Memorial Island designated for him.
As I can not afford and do not have the documents necessary for that,
I gladly provide a small, peaceful place on my plot in Mia`s Edge
    for a dignified tomb.
    I already planned it.

So what do you all think:

    We meet on Sunday
    22th of September

    time: 10pm Berlin time
(pls someone help me with the time zones and post it here- Flame and me got confused trying- sorry

    in Genevia,
    port to Memorial Island
    have a short meditation there
and then go to my plot and build up the grave together.

Velveeta will give pics and info to the widow and her daughter.
Vel thinks it might be some kind of comfort.

    So pls Istarians join,
concerning me and Flame- we would be happy to know that there will be something like that when we are gone.

And for those who do not know:
I hold this plot since the beginnings- and will never give it away- so the grave will be there until.. well:-)

This invitation is for people from all shards.
And even if you did not know him- share an hour with us to think of him.
    Its the Istarian way.

And pls someone announce it in discord too. Thank you very much.

edit: Any other ideas are most welcome- pls consider this as a suggestion!

The time would be for those in the USA, 1PM PST, I believe and 3 hours later on the east coast?

yes. 10pm in berlin is 4pm in the east coast, therefore 1pm on the west. lov, what shard are you on, again?

ps - providing i can, i promise that you and flame will have memorials on the palace grounds. in thumb's garden, itself a memorial of times and friends long gone (but hopefully not dead.....)

    okay, i was wrong, apparently.
there is a 6 hour difference between berlin and the east coast.
10pm berlin is 4pm east coast is 1pm west coast.
    sorry for the confusion......

    dear Istarians,

    this is a reminder

as there are no other suggestions
we shall have the farewell ceremony for Laughing Otter
    tomorrow,

    September 22
    10 pm Berlin time.
Pls check that with your time zone

    we meet in
    Genevia
and have a gathering on Memorial Island.
I shall lead you to a good place.

We shall have a chat channel
    "farewell Laughing Otter"

I will speak some words, then anyone who wants might give a speech or just say some words too.
    Or remain silent
Whatever seems appropriate for you- what fits for you.

After that funeral service all who want go to Mia`s Edge (friends from other shards make sure you are attuned there)
and build up the grave I planned. So its not wrong if you are prepared to craft a bit.
Its not much- but more than only a grave.
Those who can t help are most welcome just to join.
    Everyone is invited!
    Please spread the informations

And allow me a word in a personal matter:
PLEASE craft and build up ONLY the grave and its decoration.
Lots on my plot IS UNBUILD BY INTENTION
    Thank you
YOU told me to play a dragon!

I will be there with black scales on I will always remember Laughing Otter. Istaria has lost a bright light and I firmly feel that since he was so big the devs need to put a plot for us on the island And Obelisk with a bowl of fire Just like his form signature should be his grave stone . Laughing Otter was a man who enjoyed a good craft binge and Legendary hunts . Not just epic boss beat downs I mean when he fought in the edl it was a thing to behold . I would like to have his toon Parked at the edge of the world in the edl and made into a ghost a fitting end for a dev. who just greats you welcomes you to istaria and stares off in to eternity
Face forward and you should be able to hear it now the only thing plugging your ears is your own fear. There is only one enemy and one of you so what is there to be afraid of ? Abandon your fear turn and face him, Don't give an inch. Now advance Never stop If you retreat you will age Be afraid and you'll die NOW SHOUT OUT YOUR NAME !!!

I will try to make it myself though I may have some other things going on at the same time, if I can make it I would be alright with teleporting those who do not have the attunement to the destination.
Oooooh, what does this button do?
