Istaria Companion - log file parser for The Gifteds

Greetings everyone.
I've been busy lately programming a log file parser for the game and thought it would be nice for everyone to use it, too.

Currently the parser is able to parse DPS for each fight and to send an audio message to you whenever you looted a defined item. More features will be added later on hopefully. I am always up for suggestions so if you got any, let me know and PM me.

Greetings,
there has been a small bug in the installer, causing to not define the program to be launched as administrator. If you experience problems launching Istaria Companion after installing, please read this article to fix it, or download one of the updated Installers again and reinstall.

You can automatically parse the installation folder via the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Virtrium\Istaria

I do wonder, why the installation file has 40MB. If extracting it via UniExtract, the files in the end only have like 700KB

No they indeed have around 40Mb. Companion's code is just some kilobytes but Eclipse's RCP libraries (which Companion is based on) come with a huge amount of stuff. Probably an overkill but I decided to do some training with that technology :-)

Getting Istaria's path via registry is a no-go since people may have multiple install folders, so Companion won't be able to extract them from there. Also, when one did not use the Istaria installer and just copied over to a second folder.
