you can just walk around the great hall of myloc unhindered. looking around till you finally find a veteran to kill for your quest.

you can walk up and down to the queen without a worry, but it's not worth it unless you need harbingers and hierophants.

The rest of the corridor you have to be dam careful not to run into a scorpion so you will not get lethal poison.

And even Grendulf is on strike, and half the time doesn't recognize you done his quests

All in all not what i would call an improvement
