    Specifically with shorter characters (like my dwarf I think)

    This has happened quite a few times in the last few weeks and I've noticed the common denominator is me being in the group, people are surprised and not very happy. I've noticed when my dwarf gets aggro from epics especially (and other taller mobs, tree ents) he tends to get stepped on and pushed under the earth, so I'm thinking it's him. This triggers the escape/heal which is very annoying especially when fighting the greater epics.

    This has NOT happened with Valkor, I think because it's a nice smooth surface. So I either need my dwarf to get a pair of stilts or smooth surfaces where we fight epics. This is really common with Shaloth the queen, but has also happened with diminished surth, sog, AoP, px (not often, but he can get pushed into the things coming out of the ground and sometimes falls into those) and anywhere the surface isn't perfectly smooth.

    what I see is that he pulls aggro away from group, e.g. Shaloth is following dwarf- group runs behind shaloth to get her back into fight.

    (love your gang zachy- would not like to fight without èm:-))) )

    did not realize the healing thing btw

    The same game mechanic as when you're standing on a bridge and aggro a mob I assume, which they implemented to discourage easy leveling since the mobs couldn't go on the bridge, so they made them run away and heal.

    I wonder if I could avoid it by locking him in place while in combat (via options menu) but that's really annoying when you end up standing 1m out of range and doing nothing for awhile, I'd really rather not have to do that. Doing this actually stopped px from pushing zachy 100 meters out of the circle after the last patch, maybe it'll stop H2 from getting pushed out of the map... But again, it's so much easier to not have them locked for me...

    Hi there! Could you explain what you mean by being "pushed under the earth"? Monsters don't have collisions so this shouldn't be possible!

    Do you have automatic combat movement turned on? That is where your character automatically runs close to enemies to attack them!

    On the screen my dwarf character is underneath the ground swinging up and hitting the bottom of the monsters feet. It doesn't always trigger the run away but I've noticed it seems to only happen when I'm under the ground. This seems to be only happening to my dwarf. I've always just assumed it happens because he's short and they step on him.

    Yes I do have automatic movement on. I run a few characters at the same time so I cannot micromanage the movement when the mobs switch targets in groups.

    Also, when I have automatic movement turned on sometimes PX pushes my dragon as he attacks, like 100 meters away from his spawn, through walls and everything. Then all my characters follow him and for some reason they're able to go through walls too while they're aggro'd on him. Once, the dwarf fell underground at the queen, then she ran away to heal (through the wall of the chamber) and all my characters followed the queen from her spawn, then walked through space and time itself into the main part of the myloc colony (about 300 meters away) and they popped out on the other side. Not sure if this is related, but...

    Just happened on Surthiem... this is getting really old, we almost had him dead. I'm so sick of this

    We've managed to reproduce the problem and are working on a fix - we're really sorry for the inconvenience and are working on a fix!
