Exploit: not to break your golden eggs, but...

I know that the developers already know since a while of a pretty unfair exploit that involves hoard.

A sizeable number of people in my shard know AND are using it.

On IRC a sizeable number of people know of it, even not dragons since it's weeks it's open.

What to let it fixed?

Need to publish it like others did in the past? Well, in a week I'll do then.

And what about those that made buttloads of hoard using it?

I didnt even know one existed or I would have had it reported by now. Hoard may be a broken and miserable grind, but that doesnt give it any merit to be exploited.

Is it an actual Exploit? Or just something greatly imbalanced?

I don't know what it is but I would guess it involves hoarding something that is probably easy to make (or kill) and hoards for a very high value?

But I don't have a clue, never had heard of such.

I'd report it too if I had known.

The bugged item is very cheap to make and gives 7k+ hoard a pop due to a data entry error in the database (7 times more than the best "regular" item - that requires 6 materials tho' and not just 2). That's for me using such a item (not even tier V) is clearly suspicious at best.

Hmm if it's the same thing we are thinking about(which I think) then it's something that only a few people have acces too, and as far as I know it only came in with the latest patches on the EU server so haven't been here for so long.

Passed it on to someone I know that have a line with AE a week ago, since making a support ticket with GN these days seem a bit futile.

Are you talking about fireworks? I know they hoard for very nice values considering what they take to make.

If it is fireworks this has been known for a long time. Only problem is not too many have the forms for making fireworks.

Nope, if I /tell the only result I get in EU is to have people doing it and they will never be taken care of by GN, since they apparently punished bad doing people just a pair of times and in a way long past.

Unless something changed, I know for sure that fireworks dont go for 7k a pop (at least not astounding). The thing that makes fireworks work well is that they are 1 bulk so you can transfer alot of them in one trade.

bleh.. hard to point if this is a exploit or not.. b/c this spell was gone for public use.. only found on the randomizer on the bots... but the rarity of the spell should make up for hte hoard.. IMO atleast..

I agree due to the rarity of the form it should have a higher hoard value..how ever 7k hoard for a player made item that is fairly simple to make (a few bricks and a few orbs, few mins travel time) seems a bit odd.

While it may not be an exploit its definately a bug.

I disagree. Even though it is a rare form. It should not have any other HV table then the other spells, or hoardables in general.

While it is definately a bug, it is and has been used as an exploit (basing that on reading thisthread only).
