    Default HEEEELP!! Evil Loading Screen!!

I am not a fan of the splash loading screen that we have. You know, that one where it tells you that you're logging in, loading character position, etc.

How can I revert the current splash screen to the original one (pre-patch)
With the dragon hovering over the Horizons banner?

    That's the one I want ^^

The one with the stars in the background, and the shiny dragon splash screen (it kinda sparkles)

Since this is client side you should just be able to find and replace the splash screen picture with whatever you want. It will replace itself every time you patch though.

I know it is client side, but I don't know how to make it use all the sparkles and stuff that it had before. I want it to look pretty again, like it used to. It had stars, shines, sparkles, glows, etc..
    I don't want a stupid static picture.

if you have an installdisk, you might find the old pic there
else maybe download the trial, install and check in there

Im not positive on this But I belive the reason AE got rid of it was it was causing longer ports. the old splash screen was animated and took a bit to load and hence cause longer porting.

All I can say,it's concerning the "horizons/resources/interface/themes/default/defs/UILoadWindow.def" file.
But as Ragon said it,if devs changed it,there's a reason behind this ;)

By the way,can see a "default" folder for themes.
No way making a new one?
Thinking about the lag thread (This one)
Just moved some borders, and my fps get higher.
Any chance to get less lag by having a look on themes?
Of course,it would not solve the problem at 100% but it could help a bit doesn't it?
