Some how whilst playing with the /setpref commands to turn down screen lag in massed combat, I have managed to deactivate the effects for when I breath fire/lightning on mobs, anyone know how to turn it back on?

it is probably one of two commands. Probably the first
/setpref combatspelleffects true
/setpref effectson true (I think. I don't use this one)

think I have tried those 2 before, but will give them another try in 3.5hrs time
